When I stepped into the room, I found the fridge emitting an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of old bait shrimp, which led to switching rooms. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, like a dead tick on the wall in the new room; not exactly the first impression you want on vacation. The beds felt like they had seen years of wear and tear, squeaking with every move, making for a less-than-comfortable sleep. The breakfast options left much to be desired—with dried-out pastries and minimal choices, I felt slightly let down after waking up hungry.

My family enjoyed a four-night stay at the Alister Square Inn. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the beach. The maid service kept everything clean and organized daily. The price fit our budget perfectly too. However, the beds felt a bit too firm for comfort, which impacted our sleep. Breakfast options were decent but lacked variety. I appreciated the hot coffee and waffles, but a few healthier choices would’ve been nice. Overall, it met our needs as a cost-effective spot to relax. I would consider staying here again, mainly due to the proximity to the beach and friendly staff.

The bed was super comfy with delightful pillows! The shower was nice and hot, and thankfully, my neighbors were mostly quiet, despite the walls being paper-thin. A good stay overall!

The floors were dirtier than a dog park post-rain. And don't even get me started on the 4 PM check-in. I aged a decade waiting!

The staff was amazing! They were so accommodating and actually, like they wanted us to be there. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from everything you could want. I remember my wife loved those Texas-shaped banana nut waffles at breakfast.
